The photos in the listing accurately show the various ways it can be used. I placed it on my lap while sitting in a chair, and it worked well as long as my legs were flat or crossed. It does require a somewhat flat surface to prevent slipping.

One of the cool perks is the little bowl, which also makes the stand easier to handle. The plush pillow can be removed and washed, as it separates from the bottom. The stand comes with two Allen wrenches for adjustments, but I didn’t find them necessary.

I went camping a day after receiving this, and the only way I could fall asleep was by staring at my Kindle screen.

I’m puzzled as to why this product has been discontinued because it’s such a fantastic idea. My iPhone fits into it perfectly, and I love that it’s adjustable. Constantly looking down was bothering me and I’m worried it might be causing premature neck lines. This stand rests comfortably on my lap, keeping my neck straight and reducing the need to look down. Plus, the snack tray, which I didn’t think I’d use much, has turned out to be incredibly handy. Whoever came up with this deserves an award, lol.

I gave this to my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. She says it allows her to talk to her friends hands-free while propping up her phone without affecting the sound quality—unlike some other stands. It’s both attractive and protective for her phone. Turns out, I totally do!

I use this thing every day and absolutely love it. It’s perfect for holding my iPad or phone. As a bit of a geek, I figured I’d use it to hold my device while playing anime games and mirroring them onto my TV screen, and it works great for that!

The snack bowl section fits a standard bowl perfectly; I’ve put pretzels in there without any issues. Although I probably won’t use it much for snacks, it’s the ideal spot for my headphones. I foresee using it primarily for that purpose.

The stand is easy to assemble, adjustable, and the outer cushion can be washed. It holds my phone and iPad securely.

The only minor issue is that sometimes the vertical arm is a bit touchy and may slide down occasionally. Despite that, I highly recommend it!
